General information and legal bases We process personal data exclusively in accordance with the GDPR and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). The legal bases for processing are in particular Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract, e.g. for bookings), Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligations) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests, e.g. the secure and efficient operation of our website). ## 3. Hosting and server log files Our website is hosted externally. The personal data collected on this website is processed on the hosting provider’s servers. When you visit our website, the server automatically collects information in so-called server log files: IP address, date and time of the request, page accessed, browser and browser version used, operating system and referrer URL. This data serves to ensure trouble-free operation, the security of our systems and error analysis (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). This data is not combined with other data sources. The log files are deleted automatically at regular intervals. ## 4. Cookies Our website uses cookies. We use technically necessary cookies (e.g. to store your language selection) on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and Section 25(2) TDDDG. Non-essential cookies (e.g. for statistics or marketing) are only set with your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG). Contacting us If you contact us by phone, email or via a contact form, we process your details (name, contact details, content of your enquiry) to handle your enquiry and for any follow-up questions (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Your data is only passed on if this is necessary to handle your enquiry, if there is a legal obligation to do so or if you have given your consent. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for handling your enquiry and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion. ## 6. Non-binding accommodation enquiries Using our enquiry form, you can tell us your preferred accommodation, arrival and departure dates, number of guests, where applicable the number and ages of children travelling with you, as well as your name and email address. Your phone number and any additional requests are optional. We use this data to check availability and price and to reply to your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Submitting the form does not yet constitute a binding booking. The form is provided with Fluent Forms within our WordPress website. Your details are processed on our web server and forwarded to us for handling. No payments are processed and no payment details are requested via this form. ## 7. Google reCAPTCHA To protect our enquiry form against automated entries and misuse, we use the reCAPTCHA service in version 3. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. reCAPTCHA version 3 does not present you with a visible task. Instead of an image puzzle, the service analyses technical information and your behaviour on the page in the background in order to distinguish humans from automated programs. Among other things, your IP address, information about your browser and operating system, the time spent on the page as well as mouse and keyboard input are transmitted to Google. In addition, reCAPTCHA stores the entry “_grecaptcha” in your browser’s local storage. The service is embedded via the Google domain www.recaptcha.net and only on pages that contain our enquiry form. reCAPTCHA is not loaded on any other pages of our website. The service is only loaded at the moment you start filling in the form. Until then, nothing is transmitted to Google. Where applicable, we display a short notice about reCAPTCHA. So that it does not appear again on every visit, we store the entry “fourek-recaptcha-notice-seen” in your browser’s local storage. This entry is not transmitted to us or to third parties. As storing information on your device is strictly necessary for the service you have explicitly requested, namely a working enquiry form protected against misuse, we base this on Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG. The legal basis for the processing is our legitimate interest in preventing spam and in the security of our form pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If you would like to avoid this, you can contact us directly by email or phone at any time (contact details under section 1). A transfer of data to Google LLC in the USA cannot be ruled out. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission determined an adequate level of data protection in its decision of 10 July 2023. External links For directions, we link to Google Maps. Links also lead to the additional offers on genuss-ferien.de. When you click on an external link, you leave our website. The target website processes data in accordance with its own privacy notices. On this website, the directions map is embedded as a local image, not as an interactive Google Maps map. ## 9. Fonts The fonts used on this website are embedded locally. No connection to servers of Google or other third-party providers is made when the fonts are loaded. ## 10. SSL/TLS encryption For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the padlock symbol in your browser’s address bar and by the address changing from “http://” to “https://”. ## 11. Storage period Unless a more specific storage period is stated in this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for which it was processed no longer applies.
